On May 13, 2025, SYP Co., Ltd. participated in the “2025 Super Gap Startup Renovation Day,” hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), joining a gathering to share the achievements of deep-tech startup support policies and to explore strategies for global scale-up. The event highlighted the progress of MSS’s flagship initiative, the Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project, over the past two years and introduced new support measures and global expansion plans for startups selected in 2025.

The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including MSS Minister Youngjoo Oh, heads of related institutions, CEOs of selected startups, and venture capitalists. Representing SYP, CEO Kyungshik Shim participated in the event, engaging with attendees and expressing the company’s strong alignment with the policy direction for building a vibrant private-sector-led technology commercialization ecosystem.

As a private accelerator specializing in the commercialization of public technologies, SYP has supported deep-tech startups through consulting, investment linkage, and market validation services. By attending Renovation Day, SYP strengthened its understanding of the latest global scale-up policy directions and sought future opportunities for collaboration.

During the event, the 182 newly selected startups for 2025 were introduced, along with successful case studies, the launch of the “Beyond-Super Gap” follow-up program, and new initiatives like “Super Gap Link-Up” and “Tech-IPO Connect.” These programs aim to foster strategic cooperation among startups, large corporations, and venture capitalists through field-specific expert organizations.
