Name admin Views 3 Datetime 26-07-24 18:03On July 23, the 'Bio Deep Science Entrepreneurship Partnering for Prospective Startup Teams' event was held at the Hotel Onoma Daejeon, organized by the Bio-Industry Cooperation Center of the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB) in partnership with SYP.
This event was organized to facilitate the successful entry of promising prospective startup teams in the bio deep science field into the startup ecosystem and to support practical technology commercialization. Around 30 participants, including prospective entrepreneurial teams and key bio sector stakeholders, attended the event for active discussions.
The program commenced with opening remarks by Hyoung-Chul Kim, Director of the Bio-Industry Cooperation Center. SYP then presented the 'Support Strategy for Prospective Startup Teams,' sharing a roadmap for step-by-step scale-up and investment linkage tailored for deep science-based startups.
Subsequent sessions included:
Startup item presentations by 7 prospective entrepreneurial teams
An invited seminar by QPeak Bio, a senior bio startup
An expert seminar hosted by SYP, followed by a networking luncheon
During the comprehensive panel discussion, participants shared key operational challenges encountered in bio technology commercialization and explored multifaceted collaboration strategies for early-stage market settlement.
Moving forward, SYP will continue to focus its specialized technology commercialization and acceleration capabilities to ensure that innovative research outcomes in bio deep science successfully translate into continuous startup creation and commercialization.
